Map confusing

[edit]

Can I strongly recommend against using purple for split wards - it implies Ukip won them. The best method for split wards is to use diagonnal stripes to show each parties' colours. It also doesn't matter how many councillors there are in a ward - shades normally indicate voting strength. Timrollpickering (talk) 22:08, 5 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, that was something I was a bit worried about myself. I've changed the map to use stripes. To be honest, I don't really like having 1 seat and 3 seat wards in the same colour (I don't think it shows the balance of power very well, especially in the areas where you have lots of urban 2- or 3-seat wards, and rural 1 seat wards), but it seems to be standard, so I've changed that too.
