You should add the minor league chart, like i have on the dodgers page.. most of the old seasons have one. Spanneraol (talk) 02:29, 29 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Like the one here? Will do. Thanks. Go Phightins! 02:57, 29 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello again, Go Phightins! I'll be reviewing this GAN for you. I will try to leave initial feedback either tomorrow or Saturday before I go on vacation for a week. When I get back (August 22), I'll begin my detailed review. Sportsguy17 (TC) 22:52, 13 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I am here with some initial feedback. Let's start off with the good: as far as content goes, this is a very nice article, and most of my detailed feedback will be regarding mechanics and not the content. Also, dablinks show no issues. However, checklinks shows a lot of dead references, so please go there and replace the dead links and also make sure that there are no bare citations (usuing reflinks). Once I return from my vacation next week, I will begin my detailed review.

I don't see any barelinks? Will look at checklinks soon. Go Phightins! 19:19, 18 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Sorry for the confusion; the only issue here (based on my initial feedback) is the issue with the dead links, so replace those using checklinks once you can so that I can start adding detailed feedback. Sportsguy17 (TC) 03:29, 23 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
    • OK. @Bob305 and Newyorkadam: Could you help with this process? If you use the external links tool to the right, you'll see that many of the sources I cited have gone dead. Any help you could provide in tracking down either the same articles elsewhere, or something to back up the information would be great. I learned my lesson; I should archive sources immediately. Alas. Thanks! Go Phightins! 03:37, 23 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • I learned that about a week ago! Hey, I am not ignoring this review. This week is just a real life nightmare time-wise, so I will get to it ASAP, if you don't mind leaving the review open a bit. Go Phightins! 10:24, 26 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • I'll try to do it, but it seems checklinks is down right now. I'll try again later. -Newyorkadam (talk) 21:27, 28 August 2015 (UTC)Newyorkadam[reply]
  • I've replaced the ones I could; most of the MLB.com links that were marked as down were actually just redirects, and I've updated some of their links. The ref to kentucky.com is saved on web.archive.org, but for some reason it redirects to an "unaccessible" page on web.archive.org after one second, so I let it be. I couldn't find a backup for "Phillies release OF Gwynn" (Chicago Tribune). -Newyorkadam (talk) 06:18, 29 August 2015 (UTC)Newyorkadam[reply]

@Sportsguy17: Are you going to have time to do a review at some point? Go Phightins! 02:44, 23 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

He hasn't edited in nearly a month,so I'm going to put it back in the queue. Wizardman 01:25, 28 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

A seven month wait is utterly unacceptable, so I am going to try and review this. I'm not as active these days but I'll make this a focus and get through it as soon as I can. Wizardman 04:39, 6 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Wizardman. I'm not as active as I was either, so we can muddle through this together :-) Go Phightins! 20:56, 6 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

To start, there's quite a few refs tagged as deadlinks. Oddly enough, the ones I checked worked fine for me, though there are a few that need retooling here. Lead, refs, stat sections, and copyright issues are fine. Wizardman 22:47, 14 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Here's what I found through opening day:

  • "The Phillies entered the offseason with a strategy of "reloading, not rebuilding"." Quotes need citations (i assumed that it was in the following sentence but that wasn't the case).
    • Fixed. Not sure what happened.
  • "A week later, the Phillies announced that" You start this paragraph with two acquisitions that occurred a week later and month later, but there's no beginning date to tie it together.

Overall, an issue I do have with the article was it gets a little bogged down with detail; it's not really noticeable except for the final paragraph "recaps" in each month which really aren't necessary. For GA it's not a big deal, though if you were going for FA prose fine-tuning would definitely be needed. As for any remaining concerns, they are below:

  • "Days after he was optioned to AAA for consistent work, " I get what it's saying, but it took me a little while; maybe just take out the "for consistent work" part, since even if it wasn't a bit confusing that level of detail isn't that necessary.
  • You note the Fausto Car- I mean the Roberto Hernandez trade twice in subsequent sections; I'd take it out of the august section since it's repeated (moving the stats to the trade section is fine).

Article's on hold until the parts are fixed. Wizardman 02:17, 1 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The above's been fixed and I went through and did another small sweep, so I'm passing the article. Wizardman 16:37, 3 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, Wizardman! You're the best. Hope all is well. -- GP!
