Council results table colours
[edit]If anyone knows how to get the table colours used on the cell borders to format correctly it would certainly help me from going cross-eyed! SheffGruff (talk) 13:28, 9 May 2014 (UTC)
Details
[edit]- moved from Talk:MRSC
MRSC, whilst I appreciate most of the updates you've done to this article since my changes, I can't see why you've reintroduced the Details column. In common with many others I dislike 'Click here' type links and it seems much better to use the 1st col to link to the details. In revising the UK page I've found almost universal presence of the detail pages though the naming is varied. Clearly there will be a lot of red links initially but that's no bad thing. - I put it back in so there is also a link to each council in the first column. It was misleading for the column to be entitled "Council" and then the link went to an election. MRSC (talk) 09:54, 26 May 2014 (UTC)
- That's a rather flimsy argument if you don't mind me saying! Anyone who looks can immediately see what is happening. Chris55 (talk) 11:38, 26 May 2014 (UTC)
- For absolute clarity: the article should link to both the councils and the elections. Sorry if I didn't make that clear before. MRSC (talk) 07:15, 27 May 2014 (UTC)
- It still did, via the elections pages. Unfortunately now people will be less likely to click on the pages for the individual elections and they may never be filled out. Chris55 (talk) 13:16, 27 May 2014 (UTC)
