Individual colors?
[edit]The norm on past articles for Japanese elections seems to be -- in the results table -- to give the opposition parties all one color, and the government parties all one color. Should the parties be given individual colors? It makes little sense to group together ideologically distinct parties like the JIP and JCP. --4idaho (talk) 22:52, 14 December 2014 (UTC)
Increase/Decrease
[edit]Someone just changed the math used for increases/decreases from the change over the last election to the change over what the parties had going into the election (I assume some people crossed the floor?). Is this legit? It doesn't reflect the change in will of the voters as a comparison of last election/this election would—and it changes the LDP's results from a negative to a postive (ちょっと怪しい, especially given it was an IP who did it. - For the most part, it's always change as compared prior to the dissolution for seats, and from the last election for vote swings. –HTD 13:51, 15 December 2014 (UTC)
--But if this is kept, PFG and People's Life would be a loss in seats. Either we make it consistent or we reverse it. 90.202.183.36 (talk) 14:04, 16 December 2014 (UTC)
- I would like, and have seen for other articles, two columns: one comparing change to the last election, and another comparing change to the situation just before the election. Bondegezou (talk) 16:18, 16 December 2014 (UTC)
