Redundancy in the info box
[edit]I don't know if it's just how the info box for this race is but the head info box has a line for both pole position and fastest qualifier. I don't work on IndyCar race pages so I don't know how this works but having those two things seem rather redundant.--Daytona 500 23:55, 24 May 2014 (UTC)
- For instance last year, Ed Carpenter took pole with an average of 228.762 in the Fast Nine, but in the first segment of Pole Day qualifying, Will Power recorded the fastest speed of 228.844. Alternatively, in 2005, Kenny Brack was the fastest qualifier, but his time came on Bump Day rather than Pole Day itself. There are more instances listed here. Craig(talk) 11:07, 25 May 2014 (UTC)

- Yea, that's legit. Did you read the source provided? That number of laps over the course of a single day of practice at Indy isn't unheard of. TheChrisD Rants•Edits 19:40, 25 May 2014 (UTC)
