Title

[edit]

As an English article the title must be Bangladesh general election, 2014 instead of Bangladeshi general election, 2014.Thanks.--BALA.R (talk) 02:37, 6 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Bangladeshi is the accepted demonym of Bangladesh. In the same way one would say 'British general election, 2015', not 'Great Britain general election, 2015'. THough the title may not be consistent with other articles, it is still an acceptable in English.

Voter Turnout Law

[edit]

Can you please cite where it says if less than 50% of the electorate do not vote the election will be invalid.Pharaoh of the Wizards (talk) 08:45, 25 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Will be removing this detail unless there is source. It is very important detail as it says that the election itself is invalid if 50% do not vote and cannot find it even in the Bangladesh election Commission Website.Pharaoh of the Wizards (talk) 19:14, 26 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Note removed it .Please feel to add it if you have a source.Pharaoh of the Wizards (talk) 13:27, 30 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Map image

[edit]

@Number 57 I fixed the spelling issues in the map. Whatever i see, the size of english map is similar to the previous map. What is the issue of size? Tanvir 360 (talk) 12:10, 15 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

In this version the map is huge and completely distorts the infobox. If you add a map it should not have the [[ ]] either side. Also, the caption is still grammatically incorrect. Can I suggest you just list it as "Party". If possible, can you create another svg, as the resolution on the png version is quite poor. Cheers, Number 57 12:36, 15 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

'First PM to be re-elected'

[edit]

Last line of the second paragraph. I was thinking to add a 'consecutively', because Khaleda Zia was also elected twice also but not consecutively; but then I remember that she was elected in 1991 and also in 1996's February. Those were consecutive general elections.

So I think the line mentioned above should be removed; or changed, saying like 'Hasina became the first to complete two full-terms being elected by general election'... Zeeshan Y Tariq (talk) 18:44, 19 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
