Initial comments

[edit]
  • The lead, if that is a lead, needs to be thoroughly expanded. It currently cannot meet the GA criteria with one sentence. The lead has to act as a "mini article", summarising everything in the body. It needs to talk about what happened to Kenya in 2013, what were their wins and losses, where/what stadiums it was set in. The lead should be expanded to at least two larger paragraphs or three ones
  • "This involved the introduction and scrapping of a few leagues, and the re-organisation of the system" - this part is unsourced
  • Some lists in the Promotion and relegation sub section needs to be split into two columns so it looks tidier
  • Why are the citations only at the end in the first paragraph in the Division One section? Should they be evenly places so that they source everything?
  • The opening in COSAFA Cup needs to be sourced
  • As such, all opening need to be sourced to meet the GA criteria
  • "Tusker were representing Kenya in the competition" - should read and link as "Tusker FC"?

  • Ref 60 is dead
  • As mentioned above, there are a lot of claims in this article that needs citations placed

On hold

[edit]

There are a lot of major concerns here that currently prevent this from becoming GA, most notably the lead section. I'll put this one on hold for the standard seven days but let me know if you need more time, as this article needs some work before it can meet the GA criteria. @Jaguar: Thanks for bringing all this up. I most certainly can take care of all of the issues you've raised, but I think I'll need quite more than seven days because I have quite a busy schedule. Davykamanzitalkcontribsalter ego 14:25, 2 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
No problem, I'll put this on hold for whenever is best for you Jaguar 19:28, 2 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Jaguar: Ok thank you so much. I'll definitely be working on the article as soon and as quickly as I can. Davykamanzitalkcontribsalter ego 11:50, 3 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, any updates? If you like I could close it or put it on hold for a little longer? Jaguar 16:45, 9 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Close - not listed

[edit]

I am sorry to do this, but after being told and looking back on the article, there is a bit more work to be done and now it is missing a lot of valuable prose (especially the lead section). Please don't think of this as a fail though, if you would like to renominate you could ask me and I'll review it straight away again, this time it would be quicker whenever you are ready as everything should be addressed. Good luck Jaguar 18:32, 11 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
