Okay, the performances are NOT confirmed yet. It's August the 6th and no performances are announced on the website and while those are good bets on who will perform, it's still not confirmed so it should be edited out!

Taylor Swift

[edit]

I have found sources that Taylor Swift will be performing tonight. The most reliable would either be CBC News[1] or the Associated Press[2]. Other sources include People,[3] E!,[4] Us Weekly,[5] and Entertainment Weekly.[6] If someone could add it, it would be greatly appreciated! Yvesnimmo (talk) 20:38, 12 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Rihanna

[edit]

There are rumors that she will be performing after all with Eminem as a surprise, but so far only blogs are saying this, and no real news source that I know of are confirming it. What's the deal? 24.189.87.160 (talk) 21:29, 12 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Controversy

[edit]

An anonymous user (170.190.43.207 (talk · contribs)) recently added a Controversy section to the article, and I considered removing it as potentially introducing bias with weasel words, but there are references — but only to one source. It doesn't seem encyclopedic, but I didn't want to rush to judgment. Anyone else have an opinion? —Tony Webster (talk / contribs) 21:40, 13 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I reverted the changes, as they appear to have been directly copied from news articles. —Tony Webster (talk / contribs) 21:49, 13 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Gaga explains the meat dress

[edit]

I think this a very important information since many people can go wrong on the dress! I added this on the third paragraph " Gaga futher explained in an special post-VMAs taped The Ellen Show that "it has many interpretations, but for me [her] this evening ... If we don't stand up for what we believe in and if we don't fight for our rights, pretty soon we're going to have as much rights as the meat on our own bones." [1]" Please, do not remove it!

It is already mentioned in the article, with the controversies. It is just not relevant enough to the entire article to be mentioned in the lead. Yvesnimmo (talk) 05:42, 17 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

OK! DIDN'T SEE THAT! SORRY! At least you seem to be an educated person, some other would've riped me off... 05:45, 17 September 2010 (UTC)
