Off-season

[edit]

I reorganized the Off-season section in what (I hope) is a little more coherent read. I kept the free agency stuff separate and put most of the signings and other news in the first section in (largely) chronological order. I also tried to keep each paragraph related in some way instead of just a list of signings (since that is available below) but sometimes it is difficult to avoid that. Also, I dedicated a bit of time to the whole "Spezza wants a trade" nonsense that went on for a while. I'm not sure this was played around the league in terms of media coverage, but it certainly got a lot of coverage locally, so I thought it worth mentioning. Also, given that he is their star centre and the proximately to last years Heatley trade fiasco, I thought it was a notable event. Feel free to edit any sort of inherent Ottawa Sun hatred that may have slipped though :) Cheers! Ibanez Guy (talk) 13:12, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for doing this. It's an improvement. I think it's a bit long and maybe a bit over-detailed, but that's a minor quibble. ʘ alaney2k ʘ (talk) 14:08, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
