2010–11 kit

[edit]

Is there any information available on a new home kit, or are they going to use the same one again? There won't be a third kit with no European play, right? Also, is anyone else able to create the patterns for the kits? I've never done it, and I don't believe that I can download any software to edit a .png file, unless it can be done in Paint. No, there could be a third kit because last years was for charity it doesn't necessarily rely upon having European football to play. As far as I have heard they are using the same kit again but I have no confirmation of this. As for making the kits I have no idea. Tubby23 (talk) 12:14, 5 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Pre-Season Photos

[edit]

I'm going to the pre-season games here in Australia and was wondering whether anyone would want me to take photos for the pre-season section of the article? Obviously some of the photos could be used in player article and for other parts of the articles. Tubby23 (talk) 08:43, 18 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, definitely. It's always great to have photographs of the team, individual players, personnel, different kits, etc. Have a go at it! JohnnyPolo24 (talk) 11:28, 18 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
OK, will do. :) Tubby23 (talk) 07:19, 19 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You have probably noticed it, but i took a snap - one of several - of the game from where i was sitting on the night. It was a good game. Nath1991 (talk) 12:44, 22 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I actually did notice, and thanks! If you have any more photos that are more "zoomed in" then please upload them. We can always use more qualify photographs of individual players and kits. JohnnyPolo24 (talk) 14:47, 22 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Dan Gosling

[edit]

In the transfers out section shouldn't it read that Gosling went to unattached because Newcastle signed him as a free agent. So that means he would have left Everton to unattached and then went to Newcastle because no compensation swaps between Newcastle and Everton and they probably wouldn't have agreed to the transfer with each other? Tubby23 (talk) 00:01, 23 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Well, it does state that he went on a free, and by definition, there's never a fee whenever a player goes on a free. The two columns are there to explain what happened to him or any player that moves. I realize that he was a free agent for about a week while his ruling was being contested by Everton. Photographs

[edit]

I know that there is already a photo request on this talk page and a photo of a match in Australia on the article page, but we're going to need some more matchday photos, specifically of players and kits that are more "zoomed in" than the one photo we already have. If anyone working on this article attends any matches or club events this season then please take pictures of some Everton personnel. We've got a good article going here, and I think that we can get it highly rated – hopefully even FA – if we continue to add quality photos and information. I've checked on Flickr, and there are a few potential photos out there but none that are immediately desirable. Please speak up here if you can help out so we can sort out a plan. Major Vandalism

[edit]

As much as I wish it were the case, Everton has not won every single game in the PL this season. I tried to do the editing myself, but the apparent vandal is still doing edits and I'm not fluent enough in wikipedia editing to fix the article with any kind of timeliness anyway. Just pointing it out, hopefully someone can fix it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.80.102.112 (talk) 18:06, 5 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I fixed it! (Dapsv) 5 February 2011, 20:37 (UTC+1)

Aston Villa

[edit]

Small detail, but whoever is doing the main structure of the page need to realise the city/town for Aston Villa is Birmingham, not Aston. Aston, like Everton, is a district in that city. Babydoll9799 (talk) 20:57, 18 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
