Standings
[edit]Quoting from the FIFA beach soccer world cup regulations (http://www.fifa.com/mm/document/tournament/competition/01/09/70/46/regulationsfbswcdubai2009_e.pdf):
The ranking of each team in each group will be determined as follows: a) greatest number of points obtained in all group matches;
If two or more teams are equal on the basis of the above three criteria, their rankings will be determined as follows: b) greatest number of points obtained in the group matches between the teams concerned; c) greatest goal difference resulting from the group matches between the teams concerned; d) greatest number of goals scored in all group matches between the teams concerned; e) greatest goal difference in all group matches; f) greatest number of goals scored in all group matches. g) fair play point system in which the number of yellow and red cards is evaluated; h) drawing of lots by the FIFA Organising Committee.
Therefore, for example, the standings at this moment in group A (before UAE - Solomon Islands and after Portugal - Uruguay) should be in the following order: 1. Solomon Islands 3pts 2. Uruguay 3pts 3. Portugal 3pts 4. UAE 0pts —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bernbene (talk • contribs) 12:33, 17 November 2009 (UTC)
