Doh

[edit]

Ffs. Please DON'T change the fixtures for Group G. First round starts with Villarreal - Levski and Lazio - Red Bull NOT with Lazio - Levski and Villarreal - Salzburg. Here is the official fixturing for all the groups from the site of UEFA. - http://www.uefa.com/multimediafiles/download/competitions/uefacup/87/93/83/879383_download.pdf —Preceding unsigned comment added by Aspirina (talkcontribs) 19:28, 28 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Goal-Line Assistants

[edit]

I feel that details on the Goal-Line Assistants must be cited on the individual matches - as this will be the first major change to the system of controlling games in about 110 years - it's notable information.

The space taken by each game will improve when the result details are added in (scorers, etc.) thereby filling in the empty space beneath the teams WCR4 6 (talk) 11:57, 11 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

As I said in my most recent edit summary, the change in the system of officiation is certainly notable, but the names of every Tom, Dick and Harry who gets to stand behind the goals doing jack-all certainly aren't. Take this to further discussion before re-adding please. – PeeJay 21:50, 11 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Dosen't meet UEFA criterea?

[edit]

I am a bit confused about why it says that BATE's home ground dosen't meet UEFA criterea. They played the play-off round game at there home stadium so why is it not fit for the group games? Do they have differant critearia for each round or did BATE just move it to Minsk because it has a bigger capacity? 86.2.201.236 (talk) 13:37, 2 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The stadium criteria in qualifying and play-off games are less strict than group games, either for capacity or TV broadcast reasons, etc. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.91.100.2 (talk) 13:58, 23 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
