If you ask me, I'd place a "speedy delete" tag over this article, because the described event is nothing more that a disorderly conduct incident (what they call мелкое хулиганство in Russia) and not some notable demonstration worth paying attention to (unlike a Dissenters March, for instance). Moreover, I tend to think that this whole event was a pre-paid provocation, but that's my personal opinion. Let's hear what others have to say about this article. I'd take it to WP:AFD with WP:NOT#NEWS, WP:NOT#SOAP, WP:NOT#BLOG being valid reasons. Overdepedence on blogs is another reason, as is the linking to obviously carefully picked links to create a synthesis. I have to laugh at it though; Selishev looks like he is about 17 years old (about the same age as the protestors I guess), and there is no corresponding article in .ru wikipedia, so I have distinct feeling WP:NOTADVOCATE really would come into play. --Russavia Dialogue Stalk me 20:52, 7 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I support renominating the article for deletion after a reasonable time. No notability is shown. Just a case of disorderly conduct (that's how you call мелкое хулиганство in English, I think) trying to attract attention and foreign funding. --Anthony Ivanoff (talk) 08:25, 16 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
