Jersey?
[edit]- any word on what the jersey will look like? Edolive 01:58, 23 November 2006 (UTC)
Rory Fitzpatrick
[edit]Please stop giving undue weight (per WP:NPOV) on the Vote for Rory campaign. That can be fully addressed on the player's article. --Madchester 01:53, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
- actually, I'm firmly against the vote for Rory campaign, as can be proved by the fact that I took the direct link to the campaign site out of the passage. I feel that it is an important aspect of the all-star game thus far, and deserves more than just a brief mention. -- Scorpion 01:59, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
Personally, I think you are both right, and both wrong. The amount of information added about the Fitzpatrick vote was excessive. However, removing it altogether was also excessive, as the fact is, the Vote for Rory thing is the story of this years all star game right now. Scorpion, I would suggest creating a short, one or two paragraph section describing the basics of the campaign: that it originated on the internet, that it generated considerable press, that Rory is in 2nd. Leave the truely detailed description to Fitzpatrick's article. Resolute 02:48, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
- Alright, I've taken your suggestions and shortened the section considerably. -- Scorpion 03:00, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
- The size of the current paragraph looks right. It's certainly a noteworthy story, more so than the actual game itself (quick, can anyone honestly tell me what the score of the next-to-last All-Star Game was, without looking it up?). Ravenswing 03:21, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
Assistant coach
[edit]Isn't Bob Hartley scheduled to be the assistant coach for the East? ([1]) Right now it's listed as Guy Carbonneau. « amiИa . skyшalkeя (¿Hábleme?) 01:47, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
- You're right. I have no idea when that was changed or who changed it. -- Scorpion 01:54, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
Young Stars and Skill Competetion
[edit]I believe that both of these events are worthy of being cronicled as a part of this article. Does anyone else agree? I don't want to put it in without approval. Briememory 21:41, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
No alternate captains
[edit]Should we mention, there were no alternate captains named for the East & West teams. Last time that happend? 1985? GoodDay 02:07, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
