Alliances
[edit]The Independent Smallholder's Party now is a part of the Third Way alliance. Source is the webpage: www.fkgp.hu
The KDNP Christian Democratic People's Party is in alliance with Fidesz.
www.vokscentrum.hu here you can find more lists about candidates...
Actually, The Independent Smallholders Party is like the Matrix Reloaded, in a way, that every elected president claims to be the leader of a legitime party. Miklós Réthi, a known extreme right-wing politician is the leader of the smallholders which joined the Third Way Alliance.

Schedule
[edit]I removed/edited the part about schedule and rules. I think it made the impression that the legality of the dates is disputed.
The first round of the next Hungarian parliamentary election is scheduled for 2006-04-09, and the second on 2006-04-23. The dates have been announced on 2006-01-19 by László Sólyom, president of Hungary.
There are rules for assigning this date were as follows:
- Must be in April or May
- Must not be on the day before and after a legal holiday
- Can be scheduled for a weekday, but the weekend would be prefered as to allow more people to vote
