Captain & alternates

[edit]

Captain: Mattias Norstrom, then vacant. Alternates: Aaron Miller, Rob Blake, Craig Conroy (traded) and Scott Thornton. GoodDay 18:46, 4 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Earlier, I added Kostopoulos as an alternate captain. However, he was only an 'interim' alternate (filling in for the injured Rob Blake). Interim's shouldn't be added (unless they're long tenured interim-captains, like Robietaille in 1992-93), therefore I've removed Kostopoulos. GoodDay 17:06, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'm nearly certain that Scott Thornton didn't become an alternate captain until Craig Conroy was traded to Calgary. I sure can't recall him wearing the "A" on his jersey before that moment, and I also thought I heard on a Kings telecast shortly after the Conroy trade Bob Miller and Jim Fox talking about how he's now wearing the "A" on his jersey, leading me to believe that he assumed that role after the trade. I'm not gonna reflect my opinion in the article; I thought I'd leave a cimment here, first. --Ksy92003 13:10, 6 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thornton was selected as an assistant captain at the beginning of the season. The Kings alternated the "A" between Conroy, Thornton, Miller and Blake at the beginning of the season. Gmatsuda 22:29, 6 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
