Title

Would 2005 Lake Tanganyika earthquake be a more appropriate title for this article ? -- PFHLai 00:58, 6 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

i'd say yes, mainly because if there's another 'east african earthquake' we're going to have to rename this one post-mortum.then again, you would think the same of the 'indian ocean earthquake, 2004'.--Gozar 02:11, 6 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Besides, given Wikipedia's usual split up of Africa, with the DRC considered part of Central Africa and not East Africa, the previous name was not as helpful as one might wish. Caerwine Caerwhine 15:21, 8 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
