Please quit editing this to incorrectly say that HP Umpire Eddings had called Pierzynski out after strike three. In the linked source article ^[1] covering his post-game interview, he specifically indicated that he did not call Pierzynsky out. Rather, he signaled strike three and then observed the action to see if the catcher would make the tag or if Pierzynski would run.
