To-do list for 2003–04 Arsenal F.C. season:
|
Ridiculous amount of background
[edit]There's a ridiculous amount of background information in this article and little coverage of the actual season itself and the football played. Quite strange.--Shakehandsman (talk) 05:00, 5 September 2010 (UTC)

Background
[edit]- Did Arsene Wenger said it before the 2003-04 or before the 2002-03 season?
- Clarified.
- What type of concerns were raised?
- Robin van Persie is a winger?
- Yes, Van Persie was originally a winger. Wenger signed him with the intention of turning the player into a forward.
- Numbers for the players in the table.
- Certain players weren't given a squad number at the time.
RRD13 (talk) 06:13, 28 March 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks for taking up the review, believe I have addresed all your points. Lemonade51 (talk) 14:56, 28 March 2014 (UTC)
- "The latter three clubs were considered those most likely to win the Premier League." WP:WEASEL. C679 12:26, 6 April 2014 (UTC)
- Removed sentence. Lemonade51 (talk) 20:12, 6 April 2014 (UTC)
Pre season
[edit]- "series of friendlies across western europe" - Peterborough is in Western Europe?
- Yes, Peterborough is in the United Kingdom, which is in Western Europe.
- Stuart Taylor came in for which goalkeeper?
- It was a friendly match, so he didn't replace anyone.
12:32, 29 March 2014 (UTC)
FA Community Shield
[edit]- No match template for it?
- No, per Talk:1998–99_Manchester_United_F.C._season#Charity_shield_table. Pointless there being just one match template, when there's a link to the main article.
- Its a new section, so who is Lehmann is not clear.
- Lehmann was mentioned as a signing for Arsenal in the background section.
- Henry - Thierry Henry
- Henry's name is already wikilinked under 'Background'.
- Again, I am lost. Who is Jeffers?
- Francis Jeffers. Like Henry his name is already wikilinked and I've made it clear he was a striker for Arsenal. Lemonade51 (talk) 17:36, 30 March 2014 (UTC)
RRD13 (talk) 12:35, 29 March 2014 (UTC)
January-February
[edit]- "At home to Manchester City" - It should be better if "In a home match against Manchester City"
- Changed
FA Cup
[edit]- Leeds United belong to which league?
- Premier League, added.
- Highbury is not linked.
- Highbury is already linked under the Premier League section. Lemonade51 (talk) 15:22, 4 April 2014 (UTC)
RRD13 (talk) 15:03, 4 April 2014 (UTC)
Rest
[edit]- Quarter finals- Dein is the vice chairman of the club, it should be mentioned.
- Added
- Source for the player statistics?
- Underneath the table. Lemonade51 (talk) 16:04, 9 April 2014 (UTC)
RRD13 (talk) 15:41, 9 April 2014 (UTC)
Math
[edit]The article shows 10 UCL games, confirms 10 fixtures in its section, but Toure and Lehmann show 11 appearences? If arsenal only played 10 games, how can 2 players make 11 appearences? (6 group games, 4 knockout games 6+4=10)
