Independent Fianna Fáil
[edit]Should Niall Blaney be listed as an Independent FF deputy or simply Independent? IFF claim to be a distinct party, and with one TD, have the same number of seats as the SP.--Damac 17:03, 5 February 2006 (UTC)
- I put him in as Ind because it would be easy for people to understand that abbrevation, but I don't mind if IFF is used as it is technically more correct - perhaps it should have a link to a page on the Party - Rye1967 19:33, 6 February 2006 (UTC)
Seats won
[edit]The number of seats won amount to 165 and not 166. I think there is a mistake in the independent politician numbers. The real number should probably be 14 and not 13. JurijFedorov (talk) 16:52, 28 October 2017 (UTC)[1]
- @JurijFedorov: I believe this is because the Speaker (Ceann Comhairle) is not included in the results table as they are deemed automatically re-elected and no vote takes place. Number 57 22:02, 28 October 2017 (UTC)
