Lyndon LaRouche

[edit]

Lyndon LaRouche has been the bane on the Democratic party for years. His supporters are, in my opinion, evil, (I can say that as this is the discussion section and not the actual article), and damage he has done to American politics is far greater than one would expect. HOWEVER...

He did win those Arkansas delegates fair and square and they should have been allowed to take their seats.

(I didn't actually get in the hall that year, but I got in the press tents and was allowed in most of the hotel funcitons, including a reception for Hillary Clinton)Ericl 20:45, 11 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

the five o'clock feeding

[edit]

As I mentioned above, I attended most of the events at the '96 convention and since the work of nominating the president and vice president was merely pro forma, most of the delegates spent their time listening to speeches, schmoozing, and eating. Although I don't think that going into the gory details of my scavenging leftovers [the bartenders were more than happy to let me have full bottles of whiskey, beer and charddinay when various receptions were over], I thought that the five o'clock feeding was something that should be recorded for posterity.Ericl 02:11, 14 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I removed that section. It's textbook original research. JCO312 21:53, 14 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
