Ray Houghton

[edit]

Why is Houghton down as a defender, always thought he was a midfielder. JimmyMac82 14:32, 5 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's obvious - for the same reason that Cox is listed as a GK and McClair as a MF! I'll change 'em.  slυмgυм [ ←→ ] 17:32, 5 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Road to Wembley

[edit]

The Road to Wembley section doesn't make sense... Man U seem to play an extra round. Villa go straight from Round 4 to the Quarter-Finals while Man U go from the Fifth Round to the Quarter-Finals. I'm pretty sure that in the League Cup the Fifth Round IS the quarter-final. Also, clubs weren't byed through to the Third Round when in Europe back then (both clubs were in Europe that season). Was Man U v Stoke actually a second round, second leg game and if so could someone please add the first leg score and correct the other rounds accordingly? Kits are wrong

[edit]

Aston Villa played in claret and blue while Man Utd played in green and yellow
