This article has too many of them: just from the lede, we have 'It will go down in history as the most dramatic and emotional year the NASCAR has ever seen' and 'The event ... re-defined drama'. Carminowe of Hendra (talk) 22:07, 24 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I'm attempting to do a wholesale edit of the entire article, including the race summaries. The more I read them, the more ridiculous some of them sounded. It's as if they copy/pasted from a NASCAR marketing press guide puff piece. It is worth noting that the 1992 season is well-regarded by critics, particularly the story of Davey Allison's fortunes/misfortunes, and the upset victory by Alan Kulwicki. But the same story can be conveyed just as effectively through facts. I'm also doing an 'experiment' by converting the Top Ten lists to tables (like the Indycar season articles, and the newer NASCAR articles). Doctorindy (talk) 17:13, 15 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
