  • ... that 1990 Bijnor riot was the most destructive riot in the wake of the demolition of Babri Masjid? Source:-Basu, Amrita (1995). "Why Local Riots Are Not Simply Local: Collective Violence and the State in Bijnor, India 1988-1993". Theory and Society. 24 (1): 35–78. ISSN 0304-2421. JSTOR 657919.

  • Article is big enough, new enough (6 days pre-nom) and correct person credited. No copyright infringement according to the detector. Neutrally written. On the topic of the hook, it is short enough, but does not appear to be correct. The riot happened in 1990, and the destruction in 1992, so that would not be in the wake. Also although the claimed source uses the word "serious" I do not see it termed "destructive". So I am looking to see a new hook. This appears to be the 5th DYK nomination by by Winged Blades of Godric, so no QPQ is required. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Graeme Bartlett (talkcontribs)
