Trivia

  • Everybody drafted in the first round, excluding Gabe Rivera (he was paralyzed midway through the 1983 season), played for at least four seasons.
  • This first round also produced some future Hall of Famers, including Bruce Matthews.
  • The second round produced another Super Bowl QB in Boomer Esiason from Maryland
