I was referring to the section of MOS:BOLDAVOID that reads, "If the article's title does not lend itself to being used easily and naturally in the opening sentence, the wording should not be distorted in an effort to include it." However you would like to improve the article to remove the use of the exact title would be a great improvement. In addition, congratulations on a good article! - @Hameltion:, first of all, thank you for your kind words. It is gratifying to know that my efforts on this are appreciated. Thank you also for contributing to the article. I may have started this but it is now everybody's article. I understand your point, although I do think saying "The X crash occurred..." is natural. It is simpler this way so it's still an improvement. I only reverted because I misunderstood the reference in the edit summary. Thanks again. Eggishorn (talk) (contrib) 20:19, 15 January 2018 (UTC)
