Content: BBC On This Day

The contents of this and similar UK/year pages appear to have come from one source: the BBC On This Day pages. All references cite this source and very few events are listed that do not appear on that site (and what there are have been added piecemeal later). These pages could use some reviewing and, where necessary, editing: for example, as the source BBC site is an archive of contemporaneous reporting, info from there on specific events may give incomplete or disorted (with hindsight) information. Anyway, I'll be beginning this as a little project for myself - any help appreciated :) Plutonium27 (talk) 12:50, 23 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

During several automated bot runs the following external link was found to be unavailable. Please check if the link is in fact down and fix or remove it in that case!
