Stanley Cup Drought
[edit]As of 2011, this is Toronto's most recent Stanley Cup championship, most recent appearance in the championship final, and with the Chicago Blackhawks ending a 49-year Cup drought with their victory in the 2010 Stanley Cup Finals, is the longest-active championship drought in the NHL.
This statement seems inaccurate to me, because technically speaking, a team is the Stanley Cup champion until the next team is crowned. In this case, the Maple Leafs were still considered champions until Montreal was crowned in 1968. That would make the longest drought belong to the Los Angeles Kings and St. Louis Blues who joined the league while the Maple Leafs were still officially champions. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.163.134.123 (talk) 03:04, 12 April 2012 (UTC)
Stanley Cup engraving section
[edit]Al Smith's name appears on the list of players whose names were engraved on the cup, but the text immediately below the list says that his name was left off the Cup. I don't know which is right, but one of those must be wrong. 159.2.43.167 (talk) 16:56, 29 June 2021 (UTC)
