One hell of a mess, but.

[edit]

I've cleaned it up a good bit, eliminating a bunch of irrelevancies and numerous word-for-word copyvios from Trail of the Stanley Cup. Ravenswing 04:20, 21 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Conn Smythe Trophy

[edit]

I'm too new to Wikipedia to want to edit the page, but I'd like to point out that the following paragraph contains an error: "Two new trophies was introduced for this season. Jack Adams won the first Lester Patrick Trophy for his contribution to hockey in the United States. This was also the first season the Conn Smythe Trophy was awarded for the most valuable player in the Stanley Cup playoffs."

The Conn Smythe Trophy was introduced for the 1964-65 season, as evidenced by http://www.nhl.com/trophies/smythe.html. This is also mentioned on the Wikipedia page for the 1965-65 season. 164.10.46.61 11:57, 3 December 2007 (UTC) Ormiss[reply]
