Diet of Estonian and Livonian chivalry was also called maapäev in contemporary Estonian.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.235.57.178 (talkcontribs) 26 January 2006 (UTC)

"diet" is not right word, but yes maapäev is ambigious. See eg et:Maapäev--Estopedist1 (talk) 13:29, 10 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Ambiguity in National Council

[edit]

headwords Estonian National Council, National Council (Estonia) are redirected here, but we have also Riiginõukogu ('National Council') and related wrong link at National_Council#Legislative_bodies--Estopedist1 (talk) 20:41, 4 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

no point to keep this mini-list which hasn't potential to grow Estopedist1 (talk) 06:39, 26 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

A more specific action would be to merge List of Chairmen of the Estonian Provincial Assembly to List of members of the Estonian Provincial Assembly#Chairman. Klbrain (talk) 17:52, 3 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Redirected to that alternative target, given that the duplication. Klbrain (talk) 09:12, 16 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

1917 Estonian Provincial Assembly electionEstonian Provincial Assembly – the body vs this body's elections. Compare interwikis Estopedist1 (talk) 07:57, 26 February 2021 (UTC) Relisting. ~ Aseleste (t, e | c, l) 00:11, 23 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose I think it's best to keep it as an election article, without prejudice to a separate article being created on the Assembly itself. I can't see the relevance of the interwikis; different languages have different organisational structures. Number 57 10:23, 3 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. As far as I can gather, this was a short-lived assembly with only one election ever held. And the article is largely about the assembly itself, rather than specifics of the election that chose its members. In fact I think it was originally at the Estonian Provincial Assembly name from 2003–2014 prior to a bold move to the current title. At the moment there isn't really enough material to justify two articles, but if someone gathers more specific stuff on the election itself, e.g. campaigning and suchlike, they could spin off a separate article at that stage. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Amakuru (talkcontribs) 2021-03-12T12:02:50 (UTC)
