1868 Democratic national party theme
[edit]I've found that all over the internet it says that the theme for this convention was, "This is a white man’s country: Let white men rule".
Here's just one. http://greenlibertarian.net/index.php/news/108-1868-democratic-national-party-theme-this-is-a-white-mans-country-let-white-men-rule
Can this be confirmed or disproved? --Wiki3655 (talk) 19:31, 23 April 2010 (UTC)
Unsourced quotes and detail
[edit]This has lengthy quotes and details ("sweating profusely") that appear to be copied verbatim from some source. All content without sources can be deleted. It also has unsourced assertions about the convention and election.Parkwells (talk) 14:44, 25 August 2012 (UTC)
