[edit]The reference is in bad format and the Note includes substance for a baseball page, but here it is for now. --P64 01:26, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
Rowing:
[edit]"third Harvard-Yale Regatta following 1852 and 1855." --to be followed by 1860. The event became annual in 1864, according to "America's Oldest Intercollegiate Athletic Event" by Harvard SID. We need a historian, probably no SID, to say whether the event may be called established or traditional by 1859, because the 1861-1863 gap should be excused.
I have added some and tweaked some Rowing entries in 1850s years and in pre-1850s sports, but that will be all for me. Over to you "Boat Race" and "Crew" fans.
Ox-Cam, when did the Boat Race become practically annual?
All, does the equal number of Ox-Cam and Har-Y entries make balanced sport reporting? --P64 01:46, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
