Korean Presidential Unit Citation
[edit]Page one of this document identifies the 184th as receiving the "battle honours" of a Korean Presidential Unit Citation. To the best of my knowledge, neither the 184th IR or any of its component units ever served in Korea. The 7th Division, from which the 184th was detached in September 1945, did go on to Korea from Okinawa and did, in fact, eventually earn a Korean Presidential Unit Citation but the 184th was in the Continental US at that time. This citation needs to be verified. Treasurer-7th-division (talk) 06:17, 10 July 2010 (UTC)
According to the 184th Infantry Regiment's lineage and honors, the unit was inactivated 20 January 1946 in Korea, and the PUC is listed at the end. Please see more at http://www.history.army.mil/html/forcestruc/lineages/branches/inf/0184in.htmMattmc76 (talk) 23:58, 13 October 2010 (UTC)

User:Joe_Calder, one of the Soldiers in this photograph you linked is presenting an obscene gesture to the camera. The photograph is inappropriate and I have removed the link from this page. Do you have a better photograph from your time in New Orleans during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina? Mattmc76 (talk) 23:29, 20 October 2015 (UTC)
