16 Days (song) → 16 Days – Use a hatnote for the Tamil film--which is at a different name anyway. There is no need for a dab with just two elements. —Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 04:50, 22 September 2013 (UTC) —Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 04:50, 22 September 2013 (UTC)
- Question - Is the Songs in G song a cover? In ictu oculi (talk) 05:26, 22 September 2013 (UTC)
- Second question - please where's the guideline on distinguishing or not 16 Days from Sixteen Days (just jotted down a few links here as a dab, probably not complete)... ? In ictu oculi (talk) 05:50, 22 September 2013 (UTC)
- According to their Amazon.com profile, yes, the Songs in G song is indeed a "rollicking cover" of the Whiskeytown song. bd2412 T 21:00, 22 September 2013 (UTC)

- Support, as there is only one article in Wikipedia properly titled "16 Days". bd2412 T 21:00, 22 September 2013 (UTC)
- User:BD2412, the WP:DAB guidelines have recently been clarified to state that whether there is only one article is not important. Seems these other songs are all other songs mentioned by Wikipedia articles, not covers. In ictu oculi (talk) 23:55, 22 September 2013 (UTC)
- I have provided direct evidence that the song on Songs in G is, in fact, a cover of the Whiskeytown song. What evidence do you have that the other songs are not covers? Or does a {{fact}} tag need to be added to your claim? bd2412 T 00:14, 23 September 2013 (UTC)
- The source at Sixteen Days/Gathering Dust says that one is not. — AjaxSmack 01:50, 24 September 2013 (UTC)
- Hey BD2412, I meant all the ones on the dab. It's not my fault that this article doesn't include the first line of the lyrics or mention of who covered it. In ictu oculi (talk) 03:44, 24 September 2013 (UTC)
- If you saw an article on an album by a random band that contained a song titled "Jingle Bells", would you assume based on this title that this was an original song, and that Jingle Bells should be turned into a disambiguation page to accommodate it? bd2412 T 23:08, 24 September 2013 (UTC)

- Support per BD2412 and WP:TWODABS. --BDD (talk) 17:00, 23 September 2013 (UTC)
- Oppose without further evidence that this song is primary vis-à-vis all of the articles at Sixteen Days. — AjaxSmack 01:50, 24 September 2013 (UTC)
- At the time this discussion was initiated, 16 Days and Sixteen Days were two separate disambiguation pages. I grant that there is not much basis to distinguish the titles beyond that, although I note that we have, as a longstanding principle, allowed different articles to exist at titles that are identical but for the capitalization of a letter. bd2412 T 23:11, 24 September 2013 (UTC)
- Oppose - highly ambiguous title, and current title should move to [[16 Days (
Ryan Adamssong)]] correction: (Whiskeytown song) following So Alive (Ryan Adams song) and New York, New York (Ryan Adams song). In ictu oculi (talk) 03:44, 24 September 2013 (UTC)
- What do those have to do with anything? There are articles on other songs by those names. --BDD (talk) 05:37, 24 September 2013 (UTC)
- If that's the preferred option, it should be 16 Days (Whiskeytown song), though. Contemporary songs are usually DABbed by performer, not songwriter. — AjaxSmack 01:28, 25 September 2013 (UTC)
- @BDD - What that has to do with anything is that those are other articles on other songs by Ryan Adams. In ictu oculi (talk) 06:50, 28 September 2013 (UTC)

- Oppose per AjaxSmack. -- 70.24.249.39 (talk) 06:20, 24 September 2013 (UTC)
- Sorry I didn't even think to check Sixteen Days. We should probably redirect 16 Days to that and leave this titled how it is. Thanks. —Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 18:49, 25 September 2013 (UTC)
- User:Koavf, you're withdrawing the proposed move? In ictu oculi (talk) 06:50, 28 September 2013 (UTC)
- Exactly @In ictu oculi:, that is what I'm saying. —Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 18:30, 28 September 2013 (UTC)
