1640 in paleontology is a short page, pointlessly short IMO, and this page which would receive its single sentence is not long either. None of the other years from 1630 to 1650 in paleontology have articles (only six in the entire 1600s, in fact). Merging seems like the sensible solution until someone possibly adds enough content to justify a split. Geschichte (talk) 06:28, 17 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Merging it here makes sense to me, no point in having year in x articles that only contain one thing if they can be merged to a decade or a more broad subject area with more content in it. Nervelita :3🏳️⚧️ (talk) 09:32, 26 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
