Ranking for Losses
[edit]The article reports: "Over the next three years, this regiment lost the fifth greatest number of men among all regiments." -then goes on to say- "The total of 220 men who were killed and died of wounds is only exceeded by four other New York regiments...In the entire Union Army, that number is only exceeded by 24 other regiments." I'm changing "all regiments" to "all New York regiments" since the first quote ignores all non-NY union units, not to mention the Confederates. 155.213.224.59 (talk) 16:43, 19 June 2015 (UTC)
Well, it IS possible that NY regiments just held the top five spots overall, but not very likely, especially considering Confederate losses..45Colt 20:31, 4 September 2015 (UTC)
Prison deaths
[edit]I assume the final sentence, "2 officers and 74 men died in prison" is supposed to mean that out of the previously listed total, 76 of them were in captivity rather than while in camp, and not that there were another 76 deaths in addition to the ones previously listed? It's pretty ambiguous, but I'm not going to change it, because I might change it to something totally wrong if I were to guess.
