Combat history- 1992 battle for Bender/Tighina

[edit]

Made changes to the page but did not end up publishing them fully (Video footage of MT12 employment can be verified) due to the warning about using blog posts, based off the video and posts found here:

It seems the MT-12 was used in combat by the Moldovan military against the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic (PMR)'s small force of T-64BV tanks in the battle, scoring a mobility kill on one via engine damage, and killing the commander of another via a hit to the turret. The footage shown in the youtube video confirms the mobility kill, but I only have the article stating the turret penetration of the other tank resulting in the death of its commander, "A. Smirnov". The post states that information came from interviewees of the author, and the footage from "S. Skrypnyk".

From what I can tell, the article seems to be accurate insofar as it speaks of use of the MT-12. BucketBoss25 (talk) 23:43, 30 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Russia has 196,200???? =

[edit]

I doubt that number is accurate. If each gun needed a 10 man group that would mean 2 million soldiers. 46.132.49.227 (talk) 16:37, 13 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Is there any reason at all to name the article "100 mm anti-tank gun T-12" instead of just"T-12 anti-tank gun"?

[edit]

It's a really awkward name. 5.173.81.130 (talk) 22:27, 29 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
