Mistaken attribution
[edit]The attribution to Steele and Hillis may be due to the excellent paper they jointly authoured describing "Connection Machine Lisp" (see here). It's quite possible to confuse *lisp and CMLisp.
what is the full form of lisp?? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.200.95.130 (talk) 06:30, 16 November 2007 (UTC)
Move
[edit]If we can in fact move to *Lisp, then I say go for it. --maru (talk) Contribs 02:49, 2 January 2006 (UTC)
Possible other contributors
[edit]IIRC when I was using *Lisp around 1995, I met the employee assigned (half-time) to maintain the language. A few neurons claim that he had an email address like ajw@think.com, but I wouldn't bet on it. This would have been around 1995. Am I remembering this correctly? --Zippy 08:18, 7 February 2006 (UTC)
- I had a friend with I think those initials who would likely be a candidate for that position; if you want, I can dredge up his True Name (no way could I spell the last one correctly from memory :-) and more. Hga 18:56, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, "Wilson" is very difficult to spell correctly :) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.73.161.123 (talk) 14:47, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
