... that Turkish sport shooterŞimal Yılmaz, who qualified for the 2024 Summer Olympics, had exercised in her youth years in her home's living room? Source: "Avrupa ikincisi olan milli atıcı Şimal Yılmaz, Paris 2024 kotası aldı" (in Turkish)[1], "12 yaşındaki Şimal Yılmaz, babasının desteğiyle evinin salonuna kurduğu poligonda antrenman yaparak" (in Turkish)[2]
interesting bio on fine sources, Turkish sources accepted AGF. The hook works for me. In the article, there are many very short paras, and a bit too much "she ... she" and "at ... at" for my taste. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 19:13, 9 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Gerda Arendt and CeeGee: I am finding the hook to be a bit clumsy. Without objection I will tweak it. I am also looking at the article which seems rather oddly organized. Quite a few orphan sentences. There is also a maintenance tag to resolve.
@Gerda Arendt, CeeGee, and Launchballer: I was asked to copyedit the article. I just noticed, must be a machine translation and misspelling - the article said quota. I changed it to secured a "spot". Regarding the ANADOLU sources - I copyedited what was in the article and did not notice the sources, I see now there were four ANADOLU sources; I removed all of them. Regarding a citation for the hook, I see a citation for the bit about the living room/shooting range and I added a non-ANADOLU citation for the 2024 olympic qualifying.
