Estudio is Spanish. 12 Estudos (Portuguese) or Études (French)? Xx236 (talk) 07:41, 9 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

What has Spanish to do with it? FWIW, the title page gives the French title first, then the Portuguese. It seems to me that, according to WP:COMMONNAME, the French form should be preferred over the Portuguese, as far as English Wikipedia is concerned. Another option might be to use the English translation "Twelve Studies" as a generic title, per WP:Manual of Style/Music, but the French word Étude is more often used in English for this musical composition type. Any other opinions?—Jerome Kohl (talk) 02:59, 11 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
