Corrected some errors
[edit]I didn't really add much to this entry, but I corrected the errors in the titles of the songs and albums. I also added more specific information regarding Stacey Goldschmidt's documentary.
Perhaps I'll expand this entry sometime.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.131.240.171 (talk) 10:35, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
Notability
[edit]The appropriate guideline for notability is WP:MUSICBIO, and the only criteria from there that applies is the first:
Has been the subject of multiple, non-trivial, published works appearing in sources that are reliable, not self-published, and are independent from the musician or ensemble itself.
Looking at the eight <ref>s the article currently has: the last, in The Huffington Post, appears to just be a recycled press release, and the three in news.google.com failed verification. (Could another editor please confirm the non-verification. My browser displayed things like small ads; most strange.) That leaves only four references. To my mind that is insufficient for notability. - The Huffington post article appears to be the original article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.166.178.202 (talk) 00:24, 29 September 2013 (UTC)
- Article passed AfD, so I have removed the {{notability}} tag. HairyWombat 02:48, 13 October 2013 (UTC)

The "Weird" not part of his name
[edit]Should we put quotes around the word Weird? It's not a part of his name. Rmaster1200 (talk) 16:09, 29 May 2018 (UTC)
The "'Weird Al' Yankovic" article sets a precedent for how to address musicians with the "Weird" prefix. I have added quotations to "Weird Paul" and moved the page accordingly. Popscreenshot (talk) 20:14, 21 August 2019 (UTC)
