TJ Guy (born March 7, 2003) is an American college football defensive end for the Michigan Wolverines. He won three consecutive Big Ten Conference titles, and a national championship in 2023.
Early life
[edit]Guy attended Mansfield High School in Mansfield, Massachusetts.[1] Coming out of high school, Guy was rated as a three-star recruit, holding offers from schools such as Boston College, Michigan, Nebraska, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, UConn and Virginia.[2][3] Ultimately, Guy committed to play college football for the Michigan Wolverines.[4][5]
College career
[edit]In his first three collegiate seasons, 2021 through 2023, Guy appeared in 23 games, recording 16 tackles, three for a loss and two sacks; winning a national championship with the Wolverines in 2023.[6][7][8][9] In week five of the 2024 season, Guy got his first career start, registering his first sack of the season and helping the Wolverines earn a victory over the Minnesota Golden Gophers.[10]
