Sweet Steady (stylized in all caps) is a Japanese girl group that formed in 2024. They debuted with the digital single "Hajimari no Aizu" in March 2024.
History
[edit]2024: Formation and debut
[edit]The formation of Kawaii Lab.'s third girl group, Sweet Steady, was announced on January 23, 2024.[1] The initial eight member line-up would consist only of promoted trainees from Kawaii Lab. Mates, one of which; Ayu Okoda was an orginal member of Kawaii Lab.'s first girl group Idolater.[2] They released their debut digital single, "Hajimari no Aizu", on March 1,[3] followed by their second, "Heart no Mahō", on March 20.[4] In April, they released two more digitals singles; "Nantene!" on April 5 and "Michishirube" on April 14.[5] Their fifth digital single, "Call me, Tell me", was released on May 24.[6] They released their sixth digital single, "Pajama Party!", on June 10.[7] On July 10, their seventh digital single, "Onegai Pentas", was released.[8] On July 13, Mia Yanagawa withdrew from the group.[9] Their eighth digital single, "Shinsekai Crescendo", was released on August 27.[10]
Sweet Steady released their double A-side debut maxi single, "Pajama Party! / Diamond Days", on December 18.[11]
