Swami Shree Haridas Ji is a Hindu spiritual leader from Kathmandu, Nepal. He was awarded the title of "Swami" on October 1, 2008, by Jagadguru Shri Keipalu Maharaj.[1] Since then, he has been preaching the spiritual knowledge of the various notable Hindu religious works, as well as other Eastern and Western philosophies across Nepal.[2] He has also preached in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and India.[3]
Philosophy
[edit]He believes that there is harmony among different scriptures such as the Vedas, Quran, Bible, and Tipitaka. He uses these texts throughout his speeches. According to him, love is the only way to realize God. Rather than focusing on the theoretical aspect of scriptures, he emphasizes practical actions such as the loving meditation of God in the modern age.
Divine Club
[edit]He has established over six Satsang centers in different parts of the United States[4] and has also established several centers in several areas in Nepal . Devotee members of the organization meet regularly in these centers to participate in the Satsang. Regular congregational meetings include meditation, prayer, kirtan, video lectures, discussions, and, aarati.[5] Similar functions are organized in the Divine Club of London in the United Kingdom.[6]
Divine Youth Club Nepal, founded by Swami, organizes various Mediation Camps from time to time to encourage youth participation in spirituality and social work.[7] He has also worked to motivate youths in America and Europe in the preservation of Hindu cultural and spiritual values [better source needed].[8]
Divine Club Worldwide, which is based in the United States, participates in blood drives and food drives.[9] A temple of worth in [better source needed] Hetauda has begun construction from July 2017.[10] His organizations have also been involved in a number of philanthropic activities focused on accessibility for disabled people and healthcare access.[11]
