The Sri Lanka A cricket team are touring South Africa in August and September 2024 to play against South Africa A cricket team.[1] The tour consists of three List A and two first-class matches.[2] The first-class series form part of both teams' preparation for the upcoming Test series which was part of 2023–2025 ICC World Test Championship fixtures.[3]

On 26 August 2024, captain Kyle Verreynne was released from the unofficial ODIs squad to play in the County Championship for Nottinghamshire in England, Meeka-eel Prince was named as his replacement and Matthew Breetzke was named as the captain.[6]
