Sophronica major is a species of beetle in the family Cerambycidae. It was described by Stephan von Breuning in 1940.[1]

History

The genus Sophronica, established by Blanchard in 1845, comprises over 260 species and subspecies within the subfamily Lamiinae, tribe Desmiphorini. [2]
