History
[edit]Solectric GmbH, specializing in photovoltaic systems, was founded in 1986 by Dr. Helmut Hausberger. In 2007, his son, Denis Hausberger, took over the company. He focused on LED lighting technology. In 2013, the management was split. When Olaf Kappler joined the company, it switched to the drone business.[9] In 2016, the business area was expanded to include industrial solutions. As a result, Solectric became the point of contact for authorities and companies when purchasing and advising on customized drone solutions. In 2017, the "Educational Solutions" division was added to provide educational solutions and equipment for digital education.[10]
