SmarterTools Inc. is a privately held software company based in Phoenix, Arizona. The company specializes in developing software products for communication, analytics, and server management.[1] Among its core offerings is SmarterMail, a business-class email, and collaboration platform.
History
[edit]SmarterTools Inc. was founded following the development of SmarterMail, a multi-tenant email system initially created for CrystalTech Web Hosting, a Phoenix-based hosting provider. CrystalTech specialized in scalable Windows-based hosting services. After CrystalTech was sold in 2004[2], the ongoing development and marketing of SmarterMail were assumed by SmarterTools Inc., transforming it into an independent software product.
SmarterMail has since been utilized by various organizations for managing email and collaboration needs. Over time, SmarterTools expanded its portfolio to include products such as SmarterTrack, a help desk software, and SmarterStats, a web analytics tool.
