Skye P. Marshall is an American film and television actress.

Early life

Marshall was born and raised in Chicago, and attended Northeastern Illinois University. She served in the American Air Force and worked a corporate job in New York City and trained at Stella Adler Studio of Acting and the Broadway Dance Center, prior to moving to Los Angeles in pursuit of an acting career.[1][2]

Career

She could be seen as Towanda Braxton in the 2016 musical biopic Toni Braxton: Unbreak My Heart.[3] That year she appeared alongside Josh Duhamel, Al Pacino and Sir Anthony Hopkins in the thriller Misconduct.[4] She had a recurring role on ABC series The Fix.[5]

She had roles in NCIS and Grey's Anatomy prior to appearing in the 2018 war drama film Indivisible.[1] Her television credits also include Black Lightning and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.[6] In 2021, she joined the cast of family medical drama Good Sam alongside Jason Isaacs for CBS.[7]

In 2022, she shot the dark comedy film Coup! with Peter Sarsgaard, Billy Magnussen and Sarah Gadon.[8] In 2023, she appeared in Qasim Basir's semi autobiographical film To Live and Die and Live.[9] That year, she joined the cast of a pilot for legal drama series of Matlock, alongside Kathy Bates.[10] The project was commissioned for a series, broadcast on CBS from 22 September 2024.[11]

Personal life

She married fellow actor Edwin Hodge on June 29, 2024 at Carondelet House in Los Angeles.[12]
