Simon Emilio Brea[2][3][4][5] (born March 3, 2001), also known as SinemaStudios, is a Puerto Rican-Dominican-American YouTuber that uploads comedy videos[6] and shorts.[7] Those comedy videos usually involve Simon at school or at home.
Early life
[edit]Simon Emilio Brea was born in Dominican Republic, United States on March 3, 2001. As a kid, he has been wanting to become a YouTuber as a kid. Simon's channel mainly consists of either long form videos or shorts. When he was younger, he made "SinemaStudios" videos back in 2016. He also used to make videos about his experiences.
YouTube career
[edit]2014-2020: Vlogs
[edit]Simon Brea uploaded his first YouTube video in March 15, 2014, at the age of 13, under the name of "SinemaStudios". His early content ranged from vlogs. He started to upload vlogs, usually about karate. After uploading karate vlogs for some time, he switched to uploading comedy.
2020–present:
[edit]Simon decided to end his vlogging and switch to comedy. After switching his style to comedy, he started his TikTok and started uploading his YouTube Shorts on the platform. His comedy videos became much more popular than his karate vlogs, given that they garnered more likes and views. In 2021, he competed at the Virtual Pan American Internationals. He took first place in Traditional Forms, Musical Forms, and Japanese Traditional Forms. His "simonbreakarate" Instagram account is devoted to his martial arts practice. He also uses YouTube as a platform for his content and has seen his audience grow to reach over 1.2 million subscribers. He has used his channel to also share personal information with his fans.
MicroStrategy hack incident of 2024
[edit]In September 21, 2024, Simon Brea had a business Gmail account, since he wanted to be sponsored. He clicked on a malicious link, which caused the person who gave that link to get access to his account. The first sign was that Simon has been typing his password, but it said incorrect, or it got changed. So Simon went ahead and used a second account, and looked at his "channel" that was renamed to MicroStrategy. When he finally got his account recovered, he explained everything that happened.
